Stop/Start Lines within a scene

Let's say a director is only shooting the opening and the ending of a scene for the master. Is there a way to stop the tramlines after the opening (perhaps with little down arrows acknowledging the take will continue), and then start the tramlines again at the end of the scene (with little up arrows acknowledging the scene is continuing)? That way the tramlines wouldn't cross over things that aren't being shot....
Instead of "End Cam" there could be something like "Temp End" or "Continue" (which would have the down arrow on the line), and then "Resume" where the tramline would resume (with the up arrow on it).
If we can't already do this, we should be able to. That would be great, eh?

Agreed, this would've come in handy a lot on my last project

I agree. This is how I mark up and it's especially handy in scenes with a large amount of shots or shots that jump over large chunks. I hate the squiggly line as it can be confused with something that is simply off camera. Not that I ever use the squiggle. Imo, they make a MU look really messy.
